Certifications & Coverage

WorkSafeBC Insured

Shewálh carries WorkSafeBC coverage, so the crews on your site are insured under the provincial system. We can provide a clearance letter on request for your records or prequalification.

Active

BCCSA TCP Certified

Our traffic control crews hold current BCCSA Traffic Control Person certification. Every TCP arrives with required PPE, paddle, and valid certification for work-zone flagging across BC.

Active

COR (Certificate of Recognition)

We run a documented safety program and are working toward COR certification through the BCCSA. In the meantime, our safety practices are applied on every site, every day.

Working Toward

Indigenous-Owned

Shewálh is an Indigenous-owned company. For projects with Indigenous participation or community-benefit requirements, we can support your submission. See our Indigenous Procurement page.

MoTI

Roadwork and highway-adjacent work built to BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure standards.

BC Traffic Management Manual

Traffic Management Plans and work-zone setups drawn to the BC Traffic Management Manual, with clear signage, tapers, and detours.

Documented Safety Program

A written safety program applied on every site, aligned with WorkSafeBC requirements. See our Health & Safety page.

Prequalifying Shewálh?

If you are running a prequalification or vendor onboarding, we can provide the documentation you need: WorkSafeBC clearance, certificates of insurance, BCCSA certification confirmation, and our safety program summary. Tell us what your process requires and we will turn it around quickly.

For projects with Indigenous participation requirements, we can also provide the information you need to document that participation. Start on our Indigenous Procurement page.
