Shewálh started with a simple idea: Indigenous people belong at the table in construction and infrastructure, as owners and operators, not only as subcontractors. We built the company to put that idea to work on real projects, with real crews, across British Columbia.
We are an Indigenous-owned company based in BC. Our crews deliver civil works, commercial and residential building, and traffic control, and our consulting team supports Indigenous engagement on projects across the province. Every job carries the same standard: safe, on time, and finished properly.
What we mean by "built for business"
Culture and capability are not in tension. We show up with the certifications, the safety discipline, and the field experience a general contractor, developer, or municipality expects, and we bring an Indigenous-owned partnership that helps projects meet their community and procurement goals at the same time.
Where we work
Province-wide across British Columbia, on the traditional and ancestral territories of the many Nations whose lands we live and work on. We are honoured to build in relationship with these lands and communities.
